We Must Protect the Rights of the LGBTQ+ Community

Hill believes we need to protect the rights of marginalized communities — not allow bigotry to flourish. That's why he would have voted to allow Pride flags to fly at the Pentagon.

With the recent Supreme Court decision that essentially gives license to discriminate against LGBTQ+ individuals, the rising vilification of drag entertainers, and the constant barrage of violence against transgender Americans — especially trans folks of color — ANY vote that affects the rights of this protected class is a serious matter.
